A. Louis Avallone Devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Entrepreneur, 75 Lou Avallone, 75, of Stuart, Florida, formerly of Glen Ridge, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Lou was born in Buffalo, NY to Benjamin and Helen Avallone and grew up in Jamestown, NY as an avid sailor. After graduating from his beloved Syracuse University, Lou relocated to New Jersey and joined his father at Avallone Corporation. In 1968, he co-founded Alpha Associates, Inc. and served as its President until 2000 and continued to serve as Chairman until his death. Lou’s entrepreneurial, larger than life leadership created a successful and respected market leading business. Lou was an accomplished golfer, a lifelong skier, and avid boater, which he enjoyed with his friends and family in both New Jersey and Florida. Lou was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Pamela and sister Joan. He is survived by his sons, Christopher and David, his grandsons, Tyler and Chandler and sisters Patricia and Barbara. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
